Guidelines for Elections

1. You must be a member of the GDL Alliance to vote. ( you can still join now )
2. Vote for 13 people out of the list of 29 nominees.
3. Each member may vote for 1-13 people
4. You may vote for yourself
5. The top 13 names out of 29 on 11/15/2000 will be named to The Board of Directors.
6. The 13 Board Members will in turn vote for the Executive Committee.
7. The first meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors will be in Los Angles, California on Dec. 18, 2000 at 8PM.
8. It is not a requirement to attend the meeting in Los Angeles if you are elected. We want to encourage worldwide participation, but realize it is not always possible to attend these meetings. We will use the Internet to keep connected if face to face meetings are not always possible.
9. GDL Alliance Board of Directors duties will include participating in matters relating to The GDL Alliance. This will include setting the policy of The GDL Alliance such as the By Laws, deciding on goals, participating in committees, recruiting new members, promoting The GDL Alliance, fundraising etc.  Elected Board Members will be asked to agree to this.
